This is my biggest critique of coffee shops in Philadelphia. They’re all hipster type and play really depressing music for the most part. I don’t think it’s worth going to coffee shops in the USA. It’s not the same vibe as Europe at all. Just drink coffee at home. Maybe Wawa is a better place to get coffee? More chance to speak with people and has dynamic energy.
In terms of public spaces to be around other people, it seems like the park is the best option.
Only listen to music that increases your energy!
