What is my ultimate goal?
My goal each and every day is to simply wake up in the morning and increase my curiosity by .000001%. So long as I embrace the spirit of play, like a child, I know that there is endless opportunity, waiting for me, just outside my window.
Maybe curiosity is the ultimate goal of life itself. When you wake up in the morning, simply ask yourself…
What am I curious about today?
One practical suggestion I have is to walk in nature, surround yourself with beauty, and enjoy the simple pleasures in life, such as sunlight, walking, and water. I believe that when you set your body in motion, without preconceived notions, with open and honest intentions, with your curiosity at the forefront, you will find yourself in a pure and childlike state.
The world is a canvas
Photography is a superpower. We are not confined to the box, indoors, or even to the four corners of a canvas. The world is open, and endless to explore. When you treat the world as the ultimate canvas, where we create our instant sketches of life, we can always find something new to create, a new way to see, and a new experience waiting for us around the corner.
The power of photography, and the camera, lies in its ability for you to augment reality. By photographing things, no matter how seemingly small or mundane they may be, you give meaning to life, and the things that you experience and see.
You can create a new world in a fraction of a second
