Mental health is physiological

As a teenager I was a fat, depressed, and sad loser because I would sit inside and play video games all day, get no sleep, and eat McDonalds. What I have realized as I get older is that it’s impossible to be sad or depressed when you have the power of 1000 oxen.

Lifting weights, fasting, eating red meat, deep sleep and the fear of God has completely changed my outlook in life. I’m just sharing this because I want to give my personal take on issues I care about that I wish I had the answers to earlier and MAYBE there’s one young man out there that needs to hear it.

If you are sad, try to get yourself up. Start by going for walks. Do some push ups. Then you can become confident and start to smile and say hello to strangers. Stand tall with your head up and shoulders back. Fasting everyday can help remove the toxins from your body if you drink alcohol or smoke. Quit all substances. Only eat one big meal of meat every night. Beef and lamb are the food of demigods. Pork is delicious, fish is for poor people, and chicken will do nothing for you.

After traveling and having a life filled with adventure, I can sit in silence and replay all of my lived experiences on repeat in my head and never break a smile. In the past, I would sit in a dark room with a TV screen glaring back at me, sad and alone. The moral of the story, mental health is one of the biggest scams in modern life for young men. Do NOT go to a therapist. Just go to church and meet your local Pastor, Imam, or Rabbi for guidance. People WANT you to feel sad, docile, and depressed because they are themselves. Mental illness is contagious, so try to avoid sad people at all costs.

you DO NOT need a gym

Go out there and experience the fullest life you can ever dream of. Take the leap and get on a bus, train, or plane. You don’t need to travel far. My favorite mode of transportation is biking. Nothing will be able to break you when you come home with new experiences under your belt. You are in control of your mind and body. Sculpt yourself like marble and focus on your physical self and health. Everything else will fall into place.

Fast all day, lift weights, eat one meal per day of red meat, get at least 10 hours of deep sleep, and pray to God.
