The truth is…

The grass is greener on the other side. While I love America and what it stands for, traveling the world has taught me about other possibilities out there in the world. Living in a remote village in Africa for a year proved to me that human thriving is possible without all of the fancy amenities and luxurious lives Americans typically desire. If anything… they thrive way more, but in a different way. In the village you can find more families, more children, more women, and more men working towards a common goal. Human thriving.

A thatched roof once covered free men; under marble and gold dwells slavery.” – Seneca
