Why is speed important? I believe that as artist we spend too much time planning, or even simply thinking about ideas or projects that we want to work on, without actually taking action. I believe that to take action and make things quickly is the solution. The more that we dwell on perfection, the less production.

There’s something so special about being outside and observing life. Even the smallest details bring me such joy. I just hope to share this with others and maybe inspire one of the person to see the infinite beauty in the world.

Explain to me the blockchain like I’m a first grader and how it can be used to archive art

Imagine blockchain as a special kind of magic notebook that everyone can see and write in, but no one can erase or change what’s already written. Each page in the notebook is like a block, and they’re all connected in a chain, making a “blockchain.” When someone writes something on a page, it’s there forever, and everyone can see it.

Now, think about a beautiful drawing you made. You want to make sure everyone knows it’s your drawing and that it stays safe. Using blockchain, we can make a special mark on your drawing that’s like saying, “This is made by you, and it’s one of a kind.” This is similar to how artists can use blockchain to keep their art safe and show that it’s original. They put a special digital mark on their art, so everyone knows who made it, and that it’s special. This way, even if someone else copies your drawing, everyone will still know the original was yours because of that special mark in the magic notebook!

When I’m making photographs, I consider myself extracting from life and abstracting it.
