The truth is…
The grass is greener on the other side. While I love America and what it stands for, traveling the world has taught me about other possibilities out there in the world. Living in a remote village in Africa for a year proved to me that human thriving is possible without all of the fancy amenities and luxurious lives Americans typically desire. If anything… they thrive way more, but in a different way. In the village you can find more families, more children, more women, and more men working towards a common goal. Human thriving.

America’s Birthday is today
Today in America we celebrate our Independence from Great Britain on July 4, 1776. On this day in my hometown, Philadelphia, we adopted the Declaration of Independence. It was written by our forefather, Thomas Jefferson, in a small house on Market Street that I pass by everyday. George Washington, our first president, also lived on this street as well as the great inventor Benjamin Franklin.
The rich history of Philadelphia astonishes me every single day. You can walk the streets of this great city and learn something new by simply reading the walls and streets.

I just love making things!
It’s as if I was born with a duty to photograph, record, and share things. It’s in my blood! I’m not really sure its possible for me to go through my day without creating at least one new thing.
Create memories
This morning I have my own hour long GoPro POV biking session from the trail playing on my TV. I’m creating memories for myself to enjoy. This is my goal with both photography and video going forward- notes for my future self.
Explore and Experiment
I’m more interested in tinkering with things now. I’ve put the time in to learn how to photograph. Now I’m playing the long game with endless curiosity at the forefront
