Philadelphia is underrated
The balance between the chaotic concrete jungle and the tranquil zen parks is the perfect yin and yang.
Aesthetics are important
The subway station lighting feels like there’s a piss filter over everything
Photography should be easy
I’m not a fan of the notion 99% failure 1% success. All of these basic ideas of what makes a good or bad photograph are outdated and boring. We must go beyond the traditional approach to the medium and create new goals.
Photography shouldn’t feel “difficult.” If you’re fumbling with your camera, switch it to automatic mode. If you can’t find any interesting subjects, take a selfie?
There’s infinite ways to approach the medium but we get so caught up in other photographer’s perceptions of what is a worthy photo of praise or not.
I say fuck the tradition. Do everything they say not to do.
Magnum is dead, now what?
Your gut knows best
Physically and metaphorically
The connection between your gut biome and brain
In praise of Kimchi. The only food worth consuming besides meat?
Spend as much time as you possibly can outside
ANTI-OFFICE LIFESTYLE
Working from home is not worth it. Even when I worked from home I got a standing desk and home gym to keep me sane, but it’s the ultimate death of your soul.
Replace your phone addiction with the gym
If you spend any time in the day watching YouTube videos, podcasts, Tik tok, etc. I assume that you hate life?
You *should* disconnect from the heard
If you desire to stay in a state of consumption, mediocrity, and “moderation,” you have the choice to do so. We have the choice to disconnect and go beyond if we choose so.
The power is the choice.
