Using a viewfinder is for beginners
There’s nothing wrong with a viewfinder. You will learn the basics of photography and make some strides towards improving your photography! I’m just at a point where I don’t need it.

A camera is a functional tool. An extension of your eyes and hands. Big cameras suck. Think longevity and simplicity. I’m in it for the long run!
When I walk along the river, I like to imagine I am a soldier marching from Valley Forge to Philadelphia during the revolutionary war. Towards a warrior mindset to everything! Imagination and play is good.
Uplift humanity through the medium. It’s easy to be pessimistic and say “this sucks, that sucks, society sucks, etc.” better to be ruthlessly optimistic and be more loving and kind on a day to day basis
Fasting all day. One meal of at least 2 pounds of red meat and kimchi at night.

Strive to walk 30,000 steps per day
Disabling likes, comments, etc. on YouTube
Delete Instagram
Vlogging with the GoPro Mini as a way to understand my thoughts more and share them with no censorship
Ricoh GRIII and high contrast BW small jpeg
Using iPad photos app for culling, Procreate to remix photos, and Zen Brush 2 app to practice calligraphy and freestyle drawing
Creating my blog and website using WordPress. Using google photos as back up and open source download

Ultimately, I am experimenting with new ways to augment my creative productivity and physical health. I really believe in these new approaches and think about the future of photography a lot recently. My interests are somewhere in between fitness, photography, and travel. I just want to share what works for me and spread the joy of creating art with others!
Step 1: delete your Instagram
Step 2: purchase a domain using your (first name)(last name).com – I use Bluehost.com
Step 3: create a website using WordPress.org – I use the Astra theme
Step 4: start propagating your photos, videos, and thoughts on an active blog. If you want to host your own videos, install the Jetpack plugin and pay for Videopress
The goal is to own your own website and platform. Just google any questions on customization and watch YouTube tutorials on how create your blog. There’s more learning curve with WordPress, but it’s worth it for the customization. We don’t want any gatekeepers between our work. The future is websites, not social media.
