Follow the Light

Crush the shadows,
Birds in flight.
As I water the meadows,
Some may weep, others scream.
But when I’m on the street,
The light always gleams.

Just open your eyes,
Rise from your dreams.
Can you live the same day on repeat?
For there is endless novelty,
When you surround yourself with beauty.
Flowers and colors are what I see,
As the rainbow casts across me.

Time is precious,
So do not squander.
I am restless,
As I wander.

To follow the light,
In Christ’s embrace,
We find our guide,
A path of grace.
With camera in hand,
On streets so bright,
