I currently have a passion for sharing my joy for photography and my philosophy behind making art. I believe that the apex form of existence for humans is creating works of art. Just look at the ancient architecture, sculptures, and paintings from past civilizations. The artwork that people make become the depictions of the human experience.
The greatest thing about photography is how accessible it is. Anybody can pick up a camera or use the cell phones in their pockets to create art. The ultimate joy of photography is found when you realize that everything is photographable. There’s no such thing as good or bad photographs. We must go beyond basic notions of success in art. To me, success is simply making new work. The goal is to wake up each morning with a blank slate and view the world around you from a child-like perspective.
