It seems that walking is where all great ideas are born. The reason why I love walking so much is because of the stimulus that it provides me. It’s a simple, physical pleasure that offers so much in my life. Whether I am walking on a busy street or along the river trail, I am becoming more.

Longevity is the goal
Perhaps walking long distances provides similar health benefits as running. I prefer walking slowly and for longer distances because I can stay outdoors for the maximum amount of time as humanly possible. When the sun rises, it’s time to go outdoors. When the sun sets, it’s time to go inside.
Mental health is physical health
It’s wise to focus all of your attention on your physical body by increasing your strength. Any irrational emotional feelings that you may have can easily be suppressed through physical activity. Whether it’s walking or lifting weights, your strong body will create a strong mind.
