Street photography *is* unethical

If you actually practice street photography, you know this. If you’re on the sidelines, you’re the critic.

Street photography is unethical, and that’s okay.

You are the master of your mind and body.

Never let your emotional state take control. It is our duty to be strong and detached from what is out of our control. Your emotions can be tamed through understanding physiology.

Just walk. Move your physical body. Lift weights. There’s no excuse to remain in an emotional state.

Being emotional is weak.

Street Photography is an Ethos.

An artistic approach to the medium

To extract and abstract reality

To recognize the connection between your mind, body and soul

To understand the patterns in nature and human behavior

To follow your intuition

To remain in a state of play

With courage and curiosity at the forefront

Forever viewing the world from a child-like perspective

To be a proud amateur on the streets

In a perpetual stream of becoming

Through our movement and the camera’s connection to our physical body

To create sublime works of art

The goal is to depict what life could be.

What will reality manifest to be in a photograph?
